The Department offers the Russian placement test on Thursday (written part ) and (oral part) the week before the first day of classes in the fall. Students who wish to take a Russian placement test at any other time, who need a reading proficiency exam, or who have particular questions about placing into/out of Russian language courses including heritage courses, should consult Alla Smyslova.
Russian Placement Test – Fall 2017
The Russian placement test consists of two parts – written (about two hours) and oral (a 20-minute long individual interview). The written part will be offered on Follow-up oral interviews will be held on in Ham 707 (the sign-up sheet for interviews will be available at the written part of the test on ). at in Ham 703.
