Scholarly ZEIT GUEST is a video podcast about new ideas and trends in Slavic Studies, co-hosted by Prof. Mark Lipovetsky and Dr. Tatiana Efremova at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University. The fourth episode features a conversation with Myroslav Shkandrij, Professor of Slavic Studies at the University of Manitoba. We talk about the weight of imperial imagination, explore the plight and legacy of the Ukrainian avant-garde, and discuss the role of Slavic Studies in facilitating future cultural dialogue.
